You can view recordings of our graduation ceremonies that took place on 12th, 27th, 28th and 29th July on the St George's, University of London YouTube channel.

Your graduation ceremony is the highlight of the academic year. It is a celebration of your hard work and commitment, so it is important for us to make it a day for you and your family and friends to remember.

In summer 2022, as well as marking the graduations of the 2022 cohort, we will be holding ceremonies for alumni who were awarded a St George's degree after 1 July 2019 but have yet to attend a graduation, due to the cancellation of these events in 2020 and 2021. We very much look forward to recognising the achievements of three cohorts of St George's students.

We will be holding graduation ceremonies on 12th, 27th, 28th & 29th July 2022 at the Barbican. Invitations to register for these ceremonies have now been sent out – please contact graduation@sgul.ac.uk should you have any queries, or if you have not received your invitation.

Each ceremony will last approximately 2 hours, and will be followed by a 45-minute drinks reception for all graduates and guests in the Barbican Foyers.  Graduates should register at the ticket collection desk 2 hours prior to their ceremony start, to allow sufficient time for ticket collection, robing and photography.

While registering for your graduation ceremony you can also book up to 2 guest tickets (£30 per ticket; any additional guest tickets, if available, will be released for sale after the registration deadline has passed), and hire your gown.  Official photographers will be present at all ceremonies to take photos of you and any accompanying guests on the day (no pre-booking required for these photography sessions).

For those who are already in receipt of an award, but are unable to attend the July ceremonies, or would like to get a graduation photograph sooner / avoid waiting for photography on graduation day, we are also offering official photography sessions at St George’s on 5th & 6th  May 2022.  Booking links for these sessions will also be sent out directly.
