You will be able to book your place at your ceremony and purchase up to four guest tickets using our ticket booking website. You must book before the deadline of 29 April 2024. Additional spare tickets will be released at this point

After the deadline we cannot guarantee you a place at the ceremony or any guest tickets.

For some of you, the deadline will be before you receive your results. Either way, you must book your tickets before the deadline (gown hire can be purchased at a later date if you wish)..

Your place as the graduate is free but guest tickets are £30 (including VAT). This includes your ceremony, a commemorative programme and a drinks reception.

During this process, please could you advise us if you or any of your guests have any access requirements or particular needs so that we can allocate convenient seating / make the most appropriate arrangements in order to ensure that the ceremonies remain accessible to all. Read more about accessibility at The Barbican and how to get there

Extra tickets

Once the ticket booking deadline has passed, we will release any remaining tickets for re-sale on a first come first served basis.

We advise you not to make any travel or accommodation arrangements on the basis that you might get the extra tickets that you need.

Tickets on the day
There may be a handful of tickets available to purchase on the day of the ceremony. If there are any, this website will be updated, and we will email you a couple of weeks before the ceremony.
Children

Children are very welcome to attend graduation. As all graduates sit together, we ask that any children sit with your guests. ‘Babes in arms’ can sit on a guests lap free of charge but children aged 3 and above need to have a paid ticket, as they will need a seat. If you feel that the children coming to the ceremony might not be able to sit through it, then a seating area outside of the main hall is available with TVs providing a live stream for your guests and any children to watch. Pushchairs and buggies are not permitted in the hall but are able to be checked into the cloakroom.

Please email us if you are bringing children and are concerned about your seating arrangements, we would be happy to help or seat you in the aisle so you can easily get out if necessary.
