The Molecular and Medical Parasitology Group at St George’s University of London, led by Professor Sanjeev Krishna, is notable for the breadth of its research interests. Our ultimate aim is to improve the diagnosis, treatment and control of tropical parasitic diseases, including malaria – responsible for the deaths of nearly a million children a year – and sleeping sickness (African trypanosomiasis), and Ebola.
