St George’s Students’ Union (SU) commercial services comprise the SU shop and the Dragon Bar, which can be hired for external events. In addition, we have an online store selling university and SU branded clothing and merchandise.

The SU bar is located on the second floor of Hunter Wing. It’s open for the sale of soft drinks Monday to Friday, 12pm to 1.30pm, and licensed sales from 5pm Monday to Thursday and from 4pm on Fridays. The bar closes at 11pm, however does a late license and stays open until 2am on event nights.

The SU shop is located on the ground floor of Hunter Wing and is open Monday to Friday, 7.30am to 6pm. 

St George’s, University of London students and staff and St George’s University Hospitals NHS Foundation Trust staff can reserve spaces in the bar for events Monday to Friday, and the Dragon Bar can also be hired for exclusive use on weekends.

Dragon Bar

The SU Dragon Bar is the main social space for students at St George's, and is widely used by SU clubs and societies to hold a range of events throughout the year.

SU Shop

Every penny that you spend in the SU shop helps to support the students' union, as the profits generated each year go back into the SU charity.

Venue Hire

Areas of the Dragon Bar can be hired during the week by students' union clubs and societies as well as university and St George's University Hospitals NHS Foundation Trust staff.
