About the network

The Staff Disability Network is open to all staff to join, whether they have a disability or not. It not only provides a point of contact and safe space for staff to raise any issues or concerns related to disability, but we have also host events to specifically focus on different disabilities; to raise awareness, promote understanding, provide an informal opportunity for people to discuss their own experiences and allow staff to attend as and when there is a topic of interest to them.

Network Chair

The Staff Disability Network is chaired by Nathalie Fayers.

"I have been working at St George's for 18 years as a Purchaser (now for the Research Institutes and Research Operations). I was elected Chair of the Staff Disability Network in January 2019. I find that helping others is a great source of strength and motivation for me. Giving others a safe space to open up about their mental health issues and disabilities is really important to me as I have two hidden disabilities myself"   Nathalie Fayers (Chair of Staff Disability Network)
