Welcome to the Image Resource Facility forms, St George's University of London's central biomedical resource. The IRF offers assistance and a high level of service to university researchers, St. George's NHS Trust, and other academic institutions in a variety of bioimaging fields. 

This page contains all documents relevant to use of the IRF forms – please contact irf@sgul.ac.uk if you experience difficulty in accessing the document you require. 

IRF FORMS

For IRF forms applications please find the forms below:

For funding applications please follow the process:

  1. Discuss any IRF resources required with the specialist technicians for Flow Cytometry, Light Microscopy, Sample preparation or the Head of Facility.
  2. Download the IRF costing spreadsheet and complete the areas indicated for Principal Investigator.
  3. Return by email to irf@sgul.ac.uk . It will be checked and completed by IRF staff who will make the necessary checks with the Joint Research and Enterprise Funding (JRES) team
  4. The finalised spreadsheet will be returned to the applicant for use during the application process with the JRES

Health and safety

The Safety, Health and Environment (SHE) office oversee matters of Health and Safety at St George’s – please see the SHE webpage for details. 

All users of the IRF must read and acknowledge the relevant Risk Assessment for the areas in which they will be working and the equipment they will be utilising. Before commencing work in the IRF all new users must undertake a brief local health and safety induction with a member of IRF staff.
