14 October is Allied Health Professions (AHP) Day. Physiotherapy students, Ysi Henry and Amar Dhani, recently helped develop the future strategy for AHPs in England, entitled ‘AHPs into Action’.
Our modern health sciences library offers a wide range of books, e-books, academic journals and other resources to support learning, teaching, research and our NHS colleagues. In modern, welcoming spaces we offer silent, quiet and group learning areas as well as four group discussion rooms, all open 24/7 (except during August).
We have exciting archives and special collections.
We also support students in their use of the virtual learning environment with our friendly learning technology services team.
Our key goals ensure that we place our staff and students at the heart of our activities.
The Archives and Special Collections hold the institutional records for the organisation.
The library has developed a number of key policies and publications. You can find those documents here.
Here you can find contact details for a range of library teams and senior management staff.
We support the effective operation and use of key technologies for students, whether on short courses, at undergraduate or postgraduate level.
