Catering

All catering purchases have to adhere to the St George’s finance policy. For advice on the policy, please talk to your line manager.

To order catering from Ingredients: 

1. Complete the Ingredients hospitality order form (Excel) with the desired catering. It will populate automatically with the price of catering. 

2. Send an email with your catering order form, date, location, the time of delivery (ideally 15 minutes before you are due to start), and any special requests to ingredients@stgeorges.nhs.uk 

Catering is available from Ingredients between 7.00am and 7.00pm, seven days a week. There is an out of hour’s charge of £13.85 per hour after 4.00pm. For same day delivery, orders must be made before 10.00am for cold food. Orders are required two days in advance for hot food. The caterers will deliver the food, set up the tables and clear down afterwards.   

Note that Ingredients will not confirm your order until you have a cleared PO number.  Use Supplier ID 101670 when raising the requisition through Agresso. 

To order catering from Peabody’s: 

1. Refer to the menu on the Peabody’s Website. 

2. Email them with your catering order, date, location, time of delivery, and any special requests. You can also call them at 01525 403703. 

3. They will then send you a quotation. If you would like to proceed, raise, or ask to have raised, a requisition on Agresso (Peabody’s Supplier ID is 105003) and reply with the PO number for the amount quoted.  

Catering is available from Peabody’s between 6.00am and 10.00pm, seven days a week. Orders should be made two days in advance. Caterers will deliver food, set up tables, and clear down after the event finishes. 

To order catering from Tasty Affair Caterers Ltd: 

1. Email them with the date, time, and location of your event, the number of people, the style of food and/or service required. 

2. You will receive a quotation. If you would like to proceed, raise, or ask to have raised, a requisition on Agresso (Tasty Affair’s Supplier ID is 106537) and reply with the PO number.

Pret a Manger can supply food and drink, however you will need to purchase it online, collect the food and set up your room yourself.  Once you have ordered, you can then make an expenses claim. 

Established in 1977, the Students’ Union Bar is a fully licensed premises on the 2nd Floor, Hunter Wing. It is open Monday to Friday and can be booked for events — more information can be found here.
