What we do
Our primary responsibility is to organise and deliver a suite of postgraduate courses that focus on global health, ethics, law and the humanities. We also play an integral role in organising and delivering a number of undergraduate courses such as the intercalated BSc in Medical Ethics and Law and the intercalated BSc in Global Health. In addition, we aim to enable students on a variety of different courses, including the MBBS course and the BSc Biomedical Science course, to learn about global health, ethics, law, humanities and statistics. Each team member is also an active researcher and we supervise undergraduate and postgraduate students undertaking research projects within our areas of expertise.
