Inclusive Education Forum established as a space to take forward ideas around inclusivity (origins of framework, race equality review etc).  This space is open to all.

25 October 2023, 2-3.30pm, Black History Month Inclusive Education Forum  (In-person) - A special forum focused on "Tellling Hidden Stories though Pictures" – Margot Turner, and  “Radical Self Care and its roots in Black History” David Ross.

 

28 February 2024, 2-3.30pm, Library Inclusivity Project work - Update on Staff/student Collaborative Accessibility Project (MS Teams) - hear more about the process, activities, and outcomes of a student engagement project run by the library and Student Advisors. 

 

13 March 2024, 2-3.30pm, Neurodiversity focused Inclusive Education Forum (MS Teams)

The purpose of the Forum: 

Shared understanding: Provide opportunities for the university to further develop a shared understanding of inclusive education (e.g., race equality, disability awareness, transgender healthcare, Specific Learning Differences SpLD etc) 
Inclusive learning environments: Support the university’s approach to inclusive learning environments for students, staff, and the community
Share practice: Provide opportunities to share current practices on inclusive teaching methods and resources
Scholarship: Support a culture of inquiry into inclusive learning and teaching
Safe space: Provide a safe space for conversations. Support a culture that enables people to ask questions to further their understanding of developments in inclusive education.
