This July, St George’s held its first in person graduation ceremonies in three years. Seven ceremonies took place over four days on 12, 27, 28 and 29 July at the Barbican centre.
At St George’s, we offer different types of Equality and Diversity Inclusion (EDI) training that we encourage our staff to complete. All new starters are required to complete them as part of their induction.
Unconscious bias
Managing diversity in the workplace
We also offer face-to-face equality and diversity training on a regular basis. If you would like to book on these courses please see our staff development calendar.
“This training goes far deeper [than standard equality and diversity courses] and certainly challenges some of our own thinking. I would recommend that this is rolled out across the entire organisation as there is still room for change in many areas.”
“I think just raising awareness is an important first step and will increase confidence/ability to ‘call people out’ if you believe unconscious bias may be affecting their decision making (or indeed for other people to call you out).”
