Tooting highlights

Tooting Market and Broadway Market

A student in Tooting Market. Both Tooting and Broadway Markets have served the local community since the 1930s .  They have a great mix of old and new, with artisan juice bars , craft beer shops and tapas restaurants rubbing shoulders with butchers, fishmongers and fabric stalls.  They are both great places to grab a tasty lunch at a reasonable price or settle in for a bit longer on a Friday or Saturday evening .

Students eating at a restaurant in Tooting.Tooting boasts a wonderful array of curry houses. It is one of only two ’curry corridors’ in London (the other one being on Brick Lane), featuring food from Pakistan, India and Sri Lanka. There are also restaurants offering food from around the world dotted around the neighbourhood, from Brazilian to Vietnamese and Japanese to Italian.
