Dr Axel Nohturfft is a Senior Lecturer at St. George's University of London with a PhD in biochemistry. He teaches a variety of subjects (cell and molecular biology, bioinformatics, scientific writing) and supervises student research projects. Dr Nohturfft is the course director for the MRes/MSc Translational Medicine programme, Deputy Course Director for MSc Genomic Medicine, module organiser on Translational Medicine and MPharm, and co-lead for the BSc Biomedical Science Personal Training Year programme. His research interests revolve around the regulation of cholesterol homeostasis and organelle biogenesis.
