St George’s, University of London has been ranked 22nd out of 128 Higher Education Institutions in the Daily Mail’s University league table. The rankings, published on 8 September, also show the University to be 6th out of 20 in the London region.

Professor Jenny Higham, Vice-Chancellor at St George's, University of London, said: "I am pleased that St George’s has placed highly in the Daily Mail's university league table. We are ranked 6th among London universities, demonstrating our position as one of the leading institutions in the capital.

Our focus remains on providing world-class teaching and research opportunities that equip students with the skills and knowledge to have fulfilling careers that make a real difference"

St George’s is also ranked first for graduate prospects by the Complete University Guide 2023 and ranked joint 8th in the UK for our Research Impact Research Excellence Framework (REF) 2021.

More about the Daily Mail league table

The league table is based on 12 measures which includes teaching excellence, student support, student experience, first year completion, high-skilled jobs, graduate salaries, research quality, research income, first generation students, first & 2:1 degrees, UCAS tariff points and student/staff ratio.

Through these measures, the Daily Mail have provided an overall ranking. Users can also change the weighting of the performance indicators based on which is the most important to them.
