As we settle into 2023, we are taking a look back to see what changed in the library last year. We are so pleased to show you something that every librarian loves… statistics!

Over the year you asked us almost 10,000 questions at the helpdesk! Whether your question is big or small, we're here to help you. 7,819. There were over 7,000 book loans this year! Whether it was required reading or one of our study skills guides, what did you find was the most helpful? Over the course of the year we added 1,084 print books to our shelves in addition to the 660 eBooks that you now have access to online. What's even better is that 86 of these titles were chosen by yourselves during the MoreBooks campaign! 1,744. At the end of November 2022, there were over 7,000 full-text items freely available in SORA. Our Research Services Team in the library work hard to support researchers in making their work. 504. Not only does our university archives safeguard the history of St George's, but it also engages visitors by hosting virtual/physical talks, tours, and events. Over 500 people attended these! Our Liaison Team trained 1,956 library users over the course of the year.
