We're delighted to share that plans are now underway for our 2023 Telephone Fundraising Campaign.
The campaign will take place from Monday 1 May - Sunday 21 May 2023.
Our annual campaign offer a wonderful opportunity for some of our current students to update alumni on what’s going on across St George’s, as well as telling them how our team can help them stay connected to the university.
Our campaigns also raise money for vital student causes thanks to the generous support of our alumni.
This year, we are focusing our fundraising efforts on raising money for our Hardship Fund to support students through the cost-of-living crisis, as well as raising money for our Annual Fund which provides flexible support where it is most needed across St George’s.
Last year’s campaign raised over £106,000 for students at St George’s, helping to give them the best possible experience during their studies. Over the last year, alumni donations have contributed significantly to the Access to Learning Fund, helping even more students in need of financial support.
Thanks to alumni generosity, we have also been able to support several Equal Representation in Academia placements, as well as investing in new equipment to help students practice a broader range of essential clinical procedures for their future careers.
We hope to continue this success during this year’s campaign with the help of our team of Student Callers.
