The impact of the coronavirus outbreak is felt by us all and I thank you for your ongoing contributions to our community and society as a whole at this time. We each have a role to play, whether in our own household, our local community or in a professional capacity.
As I have shared with you over recent weeks, we are proud to be playing a key role in tackling the pandemic. The funding we have received so far means that our work on tackling coronavirus is well underway, but we need further support to accelerate and broaden our research.
In light of this, we are launching our Coronavirus Action Fund, seeking donations to help us develop our specialist research environment and equip our experts to tackle the current emergency while continuing their work to improve health.
