The Student Conduct and Compliance Team (SC&C) provides advice to students and staff about the operation of all St George’s student procedures which operate in accordance with the General Regulations for Students and Programmes of Study (PDF).
Meet the team
Rachael Elliott – Head of Student Conduct and Compliance
Rachael joined St George’s, University of London in 2006 to manage assessment for the MBBS Programme. Following her appointment as Assistant Registrar (Student Affairs) in 2011, she established the sub-division of Student Conduct and Compliance within Governance, Legal and Assurance Services and manages the team responsible for student casework, regulatory compliance and procedural development. Denise Chase – Senior Student Conduct and Compliance Officer
The Senior Student Conduct and Compliance Officer is responsible for advising staff and students on a variety of student procedures and for complex student casework. Administrative responsibilities include recruiting and advising members of committees, clerking and report writing and liaising with external organisations. Additionally, the Senior Student Conduct and Compliance Officer maintains a confidential register of students with health, conduct or academic progression difficulties. Frances Stannard – Student Conduct and Compliance Officer
The Student Conduct and Compliance Officer provides secretarial support for the committees and panels named within the seven student procedures and has primary responsibility for Discretionary Panels, Extended Period of Registration Panels and Disclosure and Barring Service (DBS) Panels. In addition, the Student Conduct and Compliance Officer contributes to ad hoc institutional projects and facilitates staff training. You can email Frances or call on ext. 4705.
