The Student Centre maintains a number of lockers for students to use. Lockers are issued to incoming students on arrival, usually within the first two weeks.
How do I get a locker?
If you're a student in the Institute of Medicine and Biomedical Education (that is, if you're an MBBS or Biomedical Science student) just ask for one in the Student Centre. Students in the Faculty of Health, Social Care and Education (Physiotherapy, Radiography, Occupational Therapy and Paramedic Science) can get access to one through their course office.
How long can I keep it for?
For the duration of your studies. You don't need to re-apply every year.
Does it cost anything?
No. They're free.
I’ve lost my locker key. How do I get a new one?
Just ask in the Student Centre and we can arrange to get a new key cut for you. It usually takes a couple of days and will cost you £3.50. If you're desperate to get something out of your locker, we'll be happy to open it for you.
I can’t remember where my locker is!
Physio lockers are on the fifth floor of Hunter Wing. The rest are along the main corridors of Floor 2, Floor 1 and the Basement of Jenner Wing. The team will be able to advise on the location of individual lockers.
