We are thrilled to launch the on-site visual display of the Black and Beyond campaign, which is situated in the University entrance corridor outside the Curve Lecture Theatre. The Black and Beyond campaign and display seeks to increase representation and recognition of Black individuals across St George’s
To celebrate and raise awareness of this fantastic display and the wider aims of the Black and Beyond campaign, we are hosting a launch event. Speakers include staff and students who have been featured in the Black and Beyond campaign, as well as those who developed and delivered the campaign and on-site display.
Join us to hear their reflections on why Black and Beyond is so important and what it has achieved so far.
About the Black and Beyond campaign
The Black and Beyond campaign launched in October last year during Black History Month. Since then, we have been collecting and sharing stories of our Black staff, students, and alumni featuring and celebrating their wide-ranging contributions to St George’s and our wider community.
The Black and Beyond campaign and display seeks to increase the representation and recognition of black individuals across St George’s. The display, prominently situated in the University entrance, showcases our own staff, students, and alumni celebrating their achievements and contributions.
