The St George’s website (www.sgul.ac.uk) is managed by the Digital Team who are part of the Marketing, Student Recruitment and Admissions Directorate.

The website was last redeveloped in 2019 and the team are constantly making improvements:

  • to content, by working closely with our colleagues and web editors
  • to functionality, by working with a development agency.

How to update webpages

As we are a large institution with a small Digital Team we provide web editor training to introduce colleagues to the website and how to make amends to, and create, webpages.

By giving colleagues autonomy and responsibility for their content on the website they can make edits as they need independently, without having to wait for the Digital Team to make these on their behalf or to approve the changes, and also learn a useful new skill!

Despite this, colleagues are always welcome to contact the Digital Team for advice and support with making edits.
