The helpdesk records all service calls for the Estates and Facilities department. It is intended to record calls about cleaning, portering, locks and keys, maintenance, projects, air conditioning, lifts, health and safety concerns, vending, fire equipment, security, waste, workshops and more.

For urgent faults, please call the helpdesk on 1234 option 2.
When you report a fault, please give as much information about the problem as possible, including:
- contact details: name, telephone number and email address
- location of the problem: campus, building, floor and room number, if applicable
- details of the problem or request.
You will then be contacted with a job number.
Hours of operation
8.30am to 5.30pm, Monday to Friday. Outside these hours a voicemail system operates and messages are attended to the following working day, unless urgent, where a bleep number is given.
You may also use these methods to enquire about a job you have already logged. Please have your job number ready when calling.
You will receive an email once work has been done informing you that the job has been closed.
The hours of operation for the switchboard are Monday to Friday between 9.00am – 5.00pm.

To make international calls please call the switchboard on ext 5000 and have the number ready you wish to dial, this also applies for calls to directory enquires and UK telephone numbers that you are unable to dial internally.
