The ENABLE London study is led by an experienced research team at St. George's, University of London, which include epidemiologists, medical health professionals and statisticians.

The ENABLE London study is led by:

Professor Christopher Owen, Professor of Epidemiology

Christopher Owen is a Professor of Epidemiology at St George's, University of London, and is the Principal Investigator of the ENABLE London Study. His recent work has focussed on measuring physical activity and fitness and understanding their determinants. 

The ENABLE London Research Team:

Dr Bina Ram, Project Manager

Bina is responsible for the overall management of the study, including data collection. She has expertise in managing large-scale research studies, and conducting interviews and assessments with families and with children.

Elizabeth (Liz) Limb, Statistician

Liz is a Senior Research Fellow in Medical Statistics/Epidemiology. She has expertise in analysing longitudinal data, in particular, change in physical activity.

Dr Claire Nightingale, Statistician

Claire is a Lecturer in Medical Statistics. She has an interest in physical activity and adiposity and their determinants.

Data and Clerical support

Cathy McKay is responsible for managing data returns, downloading and processing the activity monitors.

Fieldwork Researchers

Aine Hogan and Katrin Peuker are fully trained in conducting interviews and assessments with families and children.
