Stories like Love's are important for many reasons: firstly, as a celebration of her work, determination and grit and secondly, as real life example for future generations of Black women in STEM. It takes courage and hardwork, but it is possible.

In her own words, "I'm becoming the role model I never had—guided by faith, driven by science, and committed to making a lasting impact."

Take any opportunity life presents to you seriously, be diligent in your decision-making and dare to dream big.
