Council is the governing body of St George’s, subject to the provisions of the Scheme and Statutes of the organisation.
Council comprises 13 independent members (when fully staffed) including the Chair, and nine internal members, including the Vice-Chancellor and senior academic staff.
There are six meetings of Council per academic year including an away day.
