The report covers the work carried out by the Audit Committee in relation to the 2022-23 financial year and includes matters discussed at meetings up to and including the meeting held on 13 June 2023. It also includes any significant issues up to the date of the report. This report was approved by Council on 28 November 2023.
It is a requirement of the CUC Audit Code of Practice that the Audit Committee produces an Annual Report for consideration by Council and the Vice-Chancellor before the financial statements are signed. For the 2023 Annual Financial Return, the Office for Students does not require submission of the Audit Committee Annual Report, but it is expected that the report be published after consideration by Council.
