More Viral than the Virus recognised by the World Health Organization

Congratulations to transition year medical student, Ian Soh, whose organisation, More Viral than the Virus, recently celebrated its second anniversary. The organisation, which Ian founded, was initially set up to tackle misinformation around coronavirus and has since grown into a global Covid Youth movement.  

To mark its second birthday, Dr Maria Van Kerkhove, Covid-19 Technical Lead of the World Health Organization, spoke about More Viral than the Virus. You can watch her address here. 

Ian commented, “All of this would not have happened without the support offered by students from St George's at the beginning of the pandemic. For the past two years, I have been deeply appreciative of St George's unwavering faith and encouragement.”
