For cyclists, St George’s has several great benefits to make cycling to work easier.
Locked bike sheds
There are two locked bike sheds at St George’s that be opened with staff passes. One is located by Goods-in, the other to the left of the main entrance at the end of the car park. If your pass doesn’t open the bike sheds, please ask at reception to have it activated. As an extra security measure, we recommend that you lock your bike to the racks inside the bike shed.
Showers in Jenner and Hunter Wings
There are showers for staff to use throughout both buildings.
Bike tools available from reception
There’s a basic set of bike tools available to borrow from Reception and also a pump tethered to the bike shed – next to Peabody’s, and on the righthand side of the building, as you approach our main entrance.

Moose Cycles for bicycle sales and repairs
Moose Cycles are just 5 minutes’ ride from campus, and sell and service all types of bikes – including high-end hybrids, road bikes and mountain bikes. They have full workshop facilities, and a basic service starts from £60. Give them a call to book a service slot. They are also a three-star Brompton accredited service agent and can undertake all servicing jobs on Bromptons.
