A picture of Emilia Antoniuk.Emilia Antoniuk enrolled to study Physiotherapy at St George’s through Clearing last year and offers her advice to this year’s Clearing applicants.

Emilia says, “I would advise students applying through Clearing this year to try to stay on top of things as best they can.

"Follow the instructions given from the University, stay in regular contact with them, ask any questions you have and make sure you communicate.

"Doing so will reduce much of the stress that comes with the Clearing process.

“Studying at St George’s has been a great journey so far. The course, Physiotherapy, has met my expectations even though it is challenging at times. The lecturers are amazing and always happy to help so that you’re never left alone.

“I have particularly enjoyed the dissection room sessions where I could learn anatomy on real bodies, placement visits where I could see how student physiotherapists work in the hospital environment and the many interesting lectures and sessions during the whole academic year.

“The non-academic side of life at St George’s is amazing. I’ve met so many wonderful people, I even performed in the university’s annual Fashion Show which was an incredible experience and a great opportunity to meet students from other courses.”
