Submit a request for a social media post

To submit a request for a social media post, email webdevelopment@sgul.ac.uk with the following details:

  1. The time and date you'd like the post to go out
  2. Which accounts you'd like to post to: Facebook, Twitter, Instagram and/or LinkedIn
  3. The text you'd like to post (if it's for Twitter, make sure your character count is 280 or under), including a link to further information 
  4. An accompanying image (this is essential if you'd like to post to Instagram) with a minimum width of 1280px.

We will review your request and may provide feedback or suggest edits to keep your post in line with the University style guide and communications objectives.

Submit an idea for our social media accounts

If you simply want to flag an idea or opportunity for our social media accounts please email us at webdevelopment@sgul.ac.uk to:

  • share ideas for student initiatives or achievements to showcase, offering leads who can offer further information / act as interviewees
  • guide us on information we should be pushing out to students
  • highlight where there is a need for communications to respond to student concerns.

We will then consider how best to act on ideas that we receive.
