Assistant practitioners in mammography are responsible for the acquisition of high quality clinical images, or mammograms. The Breast Imaging Foundation Degree provides in-depth knowledge of breast imaging, discusses strategies for meeting the demands and diverse needs of patients, and analyses the role of health promotion and interpersonal awareness in breast screening.
