Student recruitment events

Fairs and visits

We attend university fairs at sixth form schools and colleges in the UK. We can also facilitate school and college visits to St George’s so your pupils can visit our campus, find out more about our courses and speak with our teaching staff and current students to get a feeling of what it is really like to study here.

Widening participation activities and events

St George's works closely with schools and further education providers to raise the aspirations of young people from all areas of society and inform them about career opportunities in medicine and healthcare.

There are also a number of activities and events that prospective students can take part in. These include:

  • a variety of spring and summer schools held at St George’s
  • clinical skills days - a specially designed programme of activities to give participants an insight into studying medicine and healthcare subjects
  • student tutoring in local primary and secondary schools

Through these activities St George’s has reached around 3,500 young people. Read more about widening participation at St George's.
