By providing practical research experience plus training in drug development, genomic diagnostics and data analysis, our MRes Translational Medicine equips you with skills that are in great demand in the life sciences sector.

According to the Association of the British Pharmaceutical Industry, there is currently a skills shortage in translational medicine which requires complex understanding to bridge the gap between bench and bedside.

The MRes in Translational Medicine course emphasizes research and prepares graduates for transition to a PhD-level programme or for work in research and development of a pharmaceutical/biotechnology setting.

The MSc and PGDip courses in Translational Medicine emphasize taught modules and are designed to prepare students for professional roles related to the support, administration, funding, management or governance of translational research.
