You must submit an application for one of the eligible postgraduate taught programmes.
The deadline for scholarship applications for the academic year 2020/2021 is Wednesday, 11 March 2020.
You must ensure that your application is complete in order to be considered for funding. To be deemed complete, it must contain all the relevant supporting documentation required by the programme applied to, such as references, transcripts and English language scores.

To be eligible for consideration for the St George's Postgraduate Scholarship Scheme or the Global Health MSc International Student Scholarships, you must meet the following.
Apply to study a taught postgraduate course, full time or part time.
Not already be qualified at Master’s level or above, (e.g. PhD).
Must be self-funding*.
Applicants must have or be predicted to obtain at least a 2:1.
All eligible candidates will be shortlisted on 30 March 2020 (please note scholarships cannot be deferred to 2021 or later entry).
Students with the highest scores across all courses will be considered for the scholarship. Your application will be scored based on:
your degree classification
your personal statement
To be eligible for the Global Health MSc International Student Scholarship, you must also, in addition to the above criteria, be from a low-income, lower-middle-income or upper-middle-income, as defined by the World Bank.
*Courses fully funded by the NHS or students receiving employer or sponsor funding are not eligible for consideration. This does not apply to applicants who are using the Postgraduate Loans scheme.
If you are a home (UK/EU) or international (non-EU) applicant applying for a taught postgraduate programme awarded by St George’s, you will be automatically considered for the scholarship providing you apply and are offered a place by the deadline. You do not need to submit an additional application form; however, you may be asked to attend a physical or virtual interview. Successful candidates will be those who the Scholarship Committee feel will make a positive contribution to the academic environment at St George’s and achieve the highest scores.
