The next lecture in our popular Spotlight on Science series of events is on physical fitness and how to increase exercise in daily life - and the sometimes unexpected benefits it can bring.
Speakers:
- Professor Christopher G Owen on the importance of physical activity for health
- Dr Tess Harris, Reader in Primary Care on what pedometer-based trials have shown about increasing physical activity
They’ll also be discussing the ENABLE London study in the former London 2012 Olympic Village, which is investigating how our surroundings affect our health and our physical activity levels.
