The 18th century hide of Blossom the Cow, a trip to the mortuary and a tour of our Pathology Museum were some of the highlights of our St George’s, University of London inaugural Professor Gowing workshop on Human Diseases, which introduced A-Level science students to the subject of pathology.

The Teaching Excellence Framework and what it means for St George’s

The Higher Education Funding Council for England (HEFCE) has published the results of the Teaching Excellence Framework (TEF), the government’s new system for rating university teaching according to Gold, Silver or Bronze status. St George’s has received a Bronze award.

St George’s welcomes expansion of Physician Associate numbers to help ease pressure in NHS

The Royal College of Physicians has indicated that there will be more than 3,000 qualified physician associates by 2020.

St George’s welcomes the expansion of the plans previously announced by Jeremy Hunt, Health Secretary, who had said he wanted to see 1,000 physician associates working in the NHS by the end of this decade.
