Carers Week 2018: James Westwick-Paine's story

This week is Carers Week, running from 11-17 June. The campaign aims to raise awareness of the difficulties faced by those responsible for caring for dependents. Some members of St George’s student body have caring responsibilities including James Westwick-Paine, who cared for his terminally-ill mother while studying here.

St George's, University of London student elected as NUS Women's Officer

Final-year biomedical science student Sarah Lasoye has been elected Women’s Officer for the National Union of Students. Sarah will hold the post for the academic year 2018/19, having served as Deputy Women’s Officer this year.
