St George's has been shortlisted for the International Collaboration of the Year award, which recognises exceptional projects carried out jointly between a UK institution and one or more international partners.  Projects initiated by our academics, including Professor Terry Poulton, won the nomination for medical curriculum development work across Eurasia and Southeast Asia.

The aim was to generate a ‘cloud’ of complementary projects in medical education in Asia and Eastern Europe. These are built around a shared, modern educational approach, and transform medical curricula using interactive Scenario-Based Learning (SBL).

St George's is also nominated for Most Improved Student Experience. This award is shortlisted using data gathered from THE's Student Experience Survey.

Winners will be announced at the awards ceremony at the Grosvenor House Hotel in London on Thursday 24 November 2016.
