The ceremony took place on Tuesday 1 May at the Royal Festival Hall, Southbank Centre, in London, where graduands, of which 472 received degrees from St George’s, were presented with their certificates.

Sophia Cheah graduated from our Applied Exercise for Health MSc. Originally from Singapore, Sophia flew into London specifically for the ceremony as she is currently working back home as a physiotherapist.

She said: "I loved living alongside people from elsewhere in the world and I still keep in contact with my former flatmates."

Academically, Sophia found that "the lecturers were very knowledgeable" and was sad that the course finished so quickly but "won’t miss the assignments."

Degrees were given to graduates of Advanced Practice, Biomedical Science (Applied Blood & Tissues) Foundation Degree, Breast Imaging, Clinical Research, Health Care Practice, Paramedic Practice, Paramedic Science, Physiotherapy, Radiography (Diagnostic and Therapeutic), Rehabilitation, Applied Exercise for Health, Clinical Leadership, Nursing, Postgraduate Radiography and Midwifery in the morning ceremony.

During the afternoon ceremony, graduates from the Working with Children & Young People, Social Work and Researching Professional Practice programmes collected their certificates alongside graduates from Kingston University’s School of Education.
