Dr Richard Atkinson, Reader in Epidemiology, working in the field of environmental epidemiology in the Population Health Research Institute at St George's and other experts, Dr Ben Barratt (King’s College London) and Ms Alison Gowers (Public Health England) discuss the evidence, both past and present, and how it is used to inform public health and environmental policy.
