On the evening of Thursday 13 February, a flood occurred from a plant room on the third floor of the University’s Hunter Wing.
This flood has caused damage to areas of the Second Floor, First Floor and Ground Floor of Hunter Wing.
The University’s Estates team has contained the leak and have been working to ensure as many areas are open as possible.
Hunter Wing will be open again on Friday 14 February. Some areas will remain closed while repair work is carried out.
The Students’ Union, including the bar and games room, will be closed until further notice.
Exams and teaching will take place as planned in the rooms where they are scheduled.
The Library and Computer Room will be open as usual.
Staff and students should check their email messages for additional details of affected areas and activities.
