Covid-19 (Coronavirus) guidance

The safety and wellbeing of students, staff and our wider community are our top priority as we respond to the Covid-19 outbreak. We are monitoring Public Health England advice and the guidance below will be updated to reflect any developments.

Stay alert

We can all help control the virus if we all stay alert. This means you must:

  • stay at home as much as possible

  • work from home if you can

  • limit contact with other people

  • keep your distance if you go out (2 metres apart where possible)

  • wash your hands regularly.

Do not leave home if you or anyone in your household has symptoms.

These measures must be followed by everyone.

Separate advice is available for individuals or households who are isolating, and for the most vulnerable who need to be shielded.

Further NHS guidance can be found here.

Please refer to the relevant guidance for students and staff for further advice on what you should do to let the University know.
