Applications have opened for the Student Business Concept Awards 2019. All students are invited to join the six-week programme, which offers students the chance to win £1k.
Successful applicants will work in teams on a business idea, through a series of workshops how to found and manage a start-up and will be introduced to ‘lean start-up’ tools. They will then pitch their business concept to a group of industry experts with the best business concept team winning a cash prize of £1k to put towards their start-up.
The Student Business Concept Awards offers students the chance to meet like-minded entrepreneurs at St George’s, receive entrepreneurship skills training and enhance presentation skills.
The deadline to apply is Sunday 1 December. The six-week training programme will take place from Tuesday 4 February to Tuesday 10 March 2020 with the Awards culminating with a pitching event mid-April 2020.
