Taster lecture: Physiology of the heart

The heart has the ability to beat over 3 billion times in a person's life. In this taster lecture, we’ll explore the anatomy of the organ and how it supports circulation in the body. Dr David Gilliott is a Senior Lecturer in Reproductive Physiology. His research interests relate to cancer and infertility and he is currently co-head of the Physiology section for the Institute of Biomedical and Medical Education.
