Open spaces: Open to Write creative writing workshop

Date: Wednesday 26 May 2021

Time: 17:30 - 19:00

Have you been scribbling away during the pandemic? Would you like release from the pressure of exams? Are you fascinated by words and would like a chance to start writing?

If any of these apply to you why not come along to the next Open Spaces creative writing workshop at 5.30pm on Wednesday 26 May and try your hand at poetry with writer and director of the Poetry Shed, Sharon Morris.

We will look at types of poetry and Sharon will set some practical exercises in ways of writing.  You are welcome to write in any language and/or bring languages together.  Please bring a pencil or a pen and a piece of paper for a workshop aimed at opening up your writing. This is a writing workshop designed to help you to start a piece of creative writing, with suggestions as to how to write into the blank page.

Please note the session will be on Zoom. There will be no requirement to share your writing and no previous experience of poetry necessary. Beginners welcome.
