Movement workshop - Connecting to self

Join facilitator Anusha Subramanyam at this inclusive dance movement workshop. The workshop will encourage participants to find and explore their own possibilities of movement, through building awareness of sensations within the body and exploring improvised movement and use of breath. Elements of Indian dance, yoga and somatic practice will be incorporated into the session, highlighting the value of movement to health promotion and well-being.  Accompanied by live music, vocal and percussion.

No previous experience of movement necessary. This workshop is suitable for all abilities including wheelchair users.  All students and staff welcome. Come and discover your inner power of movement. To reserve a space please email: openspaces@sgul.ac.uk
