Why did you apply for this job?

I am passionate about St George's, University of London and think it is important to maintain links with alumni. Many of us have fond memories of our time here. This is evident from talking to our alumni that I have met in the past, some while on placement, others at alumni events. The one theme they all share is a love of all things St George's.

The friendliness of the St George's community is what initially attracted me to apply for my undergraduate and postgraduate degree, and I look forward to talking to members of this community. This position will provide me with the unique opportunity to talk to alumni about their previous experiences and to compare it with my current experience. Also, I am a hardworking individual who has lots of experience working for and within St George's and would appreciate the opportunity to continue working for my university.

In addition to the interesting aspect of the job, I would appreciate the opportunity to strengthen my communication skills and to learn new skills. I enjoy speaking to people and have learnt to make conversation by working shifts at the student union bar. Through this I have also helped by working many alumni events.
