Public Engagement Support and Training

All members of the St George's community are encouraged to get involved in public engagement. We can offer a range of resources and support, including:

• Training:
  
  • In person – we organise a monthly training seminar which focus on different elements of public engagement and patient involvement.
  • Online – staff and students at St George's can access our "Beginner's guide to public engagement" course on Canvas.
• Funding —  apply for our Public Engagement seed funding  which offers grants up to £1000 to help set up a public engagement event, activity or training course.
• Mentoring — we have a mentoring program that you can sign up for to link you with a colleague with experience in a PE field that you want to gain.
• Support — if you need advice or help with anything public engagement related, the best starting point is emailing us on PE@sgul.ac.uk to let us know how we can help, and we can take it from there.
