There is an overwhelming wealth of clubs, societies and community projects on offer here at George’s. You can join as many as you like and it’s always a good way to meet new people and make friends, so we would thoroughly recommend joining one.

Joining one of our sports clubs is a great way to make friends at the beginning and to meet senior students. Our sports teams are not only known for their friendly and welcoming nature. Our teams compete at the highest levels and recent victories have included both our Football and Men’s Rugby Teams winning the British Universities & Colleges Sport (BUCS) finals.

Wednesday night is sports night, where all the teams at George’s go to the SU bar to celebrate their victories; it is always a great night with an amazing atmosphere.

Check out just a few of our sports clubs.
