Open Days

Choosing your degree and university is a major decision that could well shape your career and your life for many years to come. It's a decision you'll want to get right and to do that, you need to be well informed. For this reason, St George's opens its doors to all prospective students on a number of dates every year. This will enable you to

  • Get a feel for the atmosphere of the place and the warmth of the people within it.
  • Picture yourself living and learning on the same site as famous past students such as John Hunter, the father of modern surgery, Edward Jenner, who introduced the smallpox vaccine, and famous doctor-turned-comedian Harry Hill.
  • Talk to existing students and ask questions about living and studying at St George's — they will be able to show you around the library, lecture theatres, laboratories and Student Union facilities.
  • Meet other applicants with whom you might well end up studying.

We are confident that you'll come away from your fact-finding visit convinced that St George's provides the perfect platform from which to launch a rewarding and successful healthcare career.

Booking your place

Our General Open Day covering information on all courses falls on the last Wednesday afternoon of every month (excluding July and December). A sample programme can be found here.

Waiting lists are in  operation for any fully booked Open Days. If you wish to discuss coming to any of our Open Days or to be added to any waiting lists please contact the Enquiries Team on 020 8725 2333.

Please note that although these Open Days cover the admissions process for Radiography, students on Radiography courses spend only one term at St George's and are housed by Kingston University so you may also like to consider attending an Open Day at Kingston.
